How do I know if my child needs OT services?
Only an evaluation from a licensed Occupational Therapist will give a clear outline as to whether or not your child needs OT services. If you are concerned about your child's fine motor skills, gross motor skills and coordination, sensory processing, emotional regulation, self care skills, handwriting or picky eating - give River's Bend OT a call for a consultation!
Does River's Bend OT accept insurance?
Currently, River's Bend OT accepts private pay and is in-network with Medicaid and Anthem.
Where do you provide services?
River's Bend OT currently provides services for children in the Chester office (13120 Kingston Avenue, Chester VA 23836).
What skills does OT work on?
Occupational Therapy services can focus on a variety of areas with kiddos! At River's Bend OT we focus on the primary tasks (occupations) for kids - self care skills, fine motor skills (handwriting, coordination, strength), gross motor skills (coordination, eye hand coordination, balance), sensory regulation, emotional regulation, and picky eating/feeding concerns.
